MEDICAL HIGHER SPECIALITY ADMISSIONS 2009

Application forms can be accessed on-line through the College website on

http://home.cmcvellore.ac.in and submitted with a basic administrative fee of Rs.2000/-

Application forms are available by post from the Office of the Registrar on payment of

Rs.2000/-. Candidates applying from SAARC countries should send Rs.3500/- or its equivalent

and those from other foreign countries US dollars 100 or its equivalent.

Money can be remitted using any of the following methods:

1. As a challan at no extra cost at any branch of ICICI bank in India. Please mention

FC – CMC - V on the challan.

2. Demand draft in favour of “C.M.C. Vellore Association a/c” on any scheduled bank,

payable in Vellore.

Send the DD, original payment Challan or receipt to: Office of the Registrar, CMC,

Thorapadi PO, Vellore 632002. State your full postal address with Pin-code. Mention your

telephone number and email address if available. No additional money, stamps or envelopes

are required.

ADMISSION TIME TABLE 2009**

08th April 2009 - Last date for receipt of completed application forms

18th April 2009 - Last date for receipt of completed sponsorship forms

14th May 2009 - Written test in centres allotted

21st May 2009 - Announcement of list of candidates who qualify for interviews and

practical tests

08th June 2009 – 9 AM: Registration for tests & interviews and Medical examination

09th June 2009 - Interviews and practical tests in Town Campus, Vellore.

10th June 2009 - Announcement of final selection list

11th June 2009 - Acceptance by 8.00 am

31st July 2009 - Registration for the courses

01st Aug 2009 - Courses begin
